Use of electronic cigarettes


It is not allowed to use electronic cigarettes with and without nicotine in public transport or taxis.

It is nor allowed to use electronic cigarettes at institutions which have accepted children or young people below 18 years e.g. child care centres, schools, upper secondary educations or day care homes.

In other public places, the individual owner may decide whether electronic cigarettes may be used or not. It applies e.g. for restaurants, bars, discotheques or cafés.

All workplaces are obliged to draw up a written policy for the field which you can relate to as a consumer. As a minimum, the regulations shall state whether is it allowed to use electronic cigarettes and if so where the electronic cigarettes may be used.
