HARDWARE FOR ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES SHALL BE REGISTERED NO LATER THAN 7 JUNE 2017

In order that electronic cigarettes, which can be used for consumption of nicotine-containing vapour, can be sold in the Danish market after 7 June 2017, the following is required:

  1. The product has been registered in EUCEG
  2. The fee has been paid
  3. The applicant has received a confirmation from the Danish Safety Technology Authority that the registration has been completed
  4. The product appears from the list of registered products

Companies selling electronic cigarettes, which can be used for consumption of nicotine-containing vapour, must register their products to the Danish Safety Technology Authority no later than 7 June 2017.

The case handling of registration does not begin until payment of the registration has been made. All products are covered by the obligation of notification. Mouthpieces and batteries are excluded from fee. In this connection, batteries are the power source of the electronic cigarette.
